Drizzly cool day in Chicago brought brisk N winds all day 25 knots in the morning continuing to 30 knots mid afternoon until sunset. 8 windsurfers out at Greenwood, I rigged a 4.5 sail which was good until I quit at 1:30, and the wind was still building at that point. Straight N wind was good direction for getting through the shorebreak and catching waves coming in (for others).

Glad someone is getting to sail. This is one of the worst wind droughts I've ever seen during what SHOULD be one of the windier times of the year, and I live in one of the windier places in the country (KC)! I haven't sailed since May 7th, and there's no end in sight.

Nice follow-up windy day 6/15/ 23 wind went from nothing to 20-25 kts north suddenly at 11 am and then petered out after a couple of hours. Was very predictable when it would arrive, wind front was nicely marching southward. A couple of us out on 5.0- 5.7 got some nice easy sailing, no shorebreak, small chop.
