Forecast looking good for a midday SSW-SW wind 11am to about 3pm before it shifts and rains, hot air cold water likely to be gusty. Parking not yet enforced at Greenwood, but Lee Street might be better for the direction.
I am seeing pretty storm-free until after 3. Light showers before then might kill the wind. Main thing on the big lake is your confidence and skill on side-off shore winds, which will clock a bit more off shore as the afternoon progresses. The wind line is usually 100 yards out or further. Wind is fluky close to shore, Lee street is slightly better close in on a SW, at worst you might have a 10 minute swim if its terrible shifty gusty close to shore. Getting blown downwind is not a terrible outcome, easy walk back in shallow water along the rocky shore, Lee St gives you one more safety area to land.
