Yep, come on up.

NOAA: Patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a southwest wind...increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Looks like a good day for the Marina WSW to SW to SSW. in the 5.8 to 4.7 range. Have a 4.2 in the car. Air temp cold - 5/4 rubber.

As Reid said, the Marina is prolly a good place to launch. I’ll be there around noon.

Bob, bring a GPS Gopro or down load Speed Tracker App for tomorrow. You should be able to get some fast rides across from the Marina up towards the point, narrows as Reid calls it. I might have extra wet bag for a phone if needed. This is going to be my first speed reading day. Can’t wait to see.

Update: They downgraded. Looking more like 6.9 to 5.8 wind. I still think it might get stronger than that in the late afternoon Bring all your stuff.

Folks had the need, the need for speed. Rigged 5.8 Ezzy Tiger wave with 95 L FSW and smallest fin I have, a 27 cm MFC Freewave. And headed up to The Narrows and beyond to make some speed runs. I was able to hit 32 mph several times. Hard to find flat water with wind on it. Very choppy. A crowd of 7 windsurfers were out! Nice to meet you Dennis, and great to see Glen out in a longtime. Great to see everybody! Sorry if I didn't get a pic of you. Next time!

Me (5.8 sail). Sepideh. What kind of board is that?? It keeps bucking the rider off. Checking on her, she gave the thumbs up.

Reid, Thanks so much for the footage! Great memories. The best part is that you really captured that moon as we saw it!

Nice sailing with all of you - Reid thanks for all the photos & help getting into the site. Hope we get more days in the future. Day was a great primer. I am heading to Hatteras Friday if any one wants to head to the Maui of the East.
