Good day for the Marina. WSW in the 6.9 gust chase range. Rain after 4:00 pm

A good day to teach. Beginner Cove setup with WSW wind. Rich's beginner board is in the shop for repair. If you bring your own gear I'll give you free windsurf instruction. Let me know now so I know you're going.

Water temp at the coldest part of the lake hit 76 degrees yesterday. Air temp will be around 83. Time to break out the Lycra.

Enjoy the bathtub water. Here in Sheboygan, the lake is 50 degrees and the air temp today is 55! That’s spring in Wisconsing.

Fun day at the Marina. I got a chance to try my light wind windsurf foil gear for the first time this year. Just like Rich's sesh last weekend I had the whole lake to myself. No sunfish sailboats, no catamarans, no para-plows. no nothing. A beautiful light wind day. Wore my Lycra sun suit. Made it up to The Narrows with 3 tacks. Got out there around 1:00 pm, got off the water around 4:00 pm. My light wind windsurf foil set-up ripped.

My new MFC foil, 36 mast, 342.81 cm2 foil wing. Works in any power box and uses a standard 6mm power box bolt. I didn't have to drill on my board to make room for a 8mm bolt.

Welcome to Reid Cam. It's kind of like Letterman's Monkey Cam of yesteryear.

With foils it's best to do a strap to strap jibe.

Just sit back and let the light wind foil set-up work for ya. You'll be catching days when others are sitting at home waiting for more wind.

The nice thing about a 36 cm foil mast is you can schlog all the way into shore and exit with a dry sail. Look at that Saturday crowd.

Man, for a first-time foiling in lightwind, looks like you have your act together. Not even wetting the Lycra! Reid always have the right equipment for every situation!
