Is anyone planning on sailing this afternoon? I'm thinking if the sun pops out around noon I may go but definitely a day to wear mittens.

I am seeing some clear sky in Bloomington. Not much but it is still early.

WSW is the direction from hell. Then add the cold on top of that.

The Michigan sailors would probably be in board sports today! Wouldn't the beach be the place on WSW? Ends up I can't break away from work anyway.

If you like a half mile a fetch and nearly straight onshore.

So the only place to sail on a WSW at Clinton is the main pool just up from the marina? I've been sailing there all this time but never really thought about it. We need to find the best spot on the lake. How about the 41 bridge?

Yep, just in front The Narrows, if you're not worn out by the time you make it up there.

Parnell is the only spot that is set up for a W or WSW. We tried it and weren't too crazy about it. It was a little funky. Wind only down the middle. If you remember.

Guys, you should have done another run through the NSWOC /aka The Purgatory/ ;)

PS: I know it probably wouldn’t have worked good, just teasing you, couldn’t wait to share this clip.

Funny.

Yeah, the wind-line is like half a mile out on a WSW. But that shouldn't stop us.
