TOPIC: Purgatory Cove, 4.8* WNW, 6/13/23

Purgatory Cove, 4.8* WNW, 6/13/23 9 months 3 weeks ago #1

Rain cloud hit the lake - 5.6 would have been better than 4.8. A nice path has opened up between the high bank the fallen tree. You no longer have to step over the tree. Right as I got in between the bank and the upturned roots of the fallen tree, there was a snake on top of the upturned roots face high. I could have reached out and touched him if I didn't have gear in both hands. The keeper of the new pass. I put my sail between him and my face as I squeezed by. Once I was past him there was a turkey vulture standing on the bank. Welcome to Purgatory Cove.

Doing the hula and feathering the sail to sneak back. This is what a 102 litter board with 4.8 and 174 lbs on it in a total standstill looks like in FRESHWATER.
