Might be a good day for the Marina or West Side. S to SSE wind in the 5.8 to 4.7 range - popcorn thunderstorms permitting. It only takes one to hit the lake to kill the wind. I'm not sure if its West Side or the Marina. Wind has turned from SSE to S(170) this morning.

Update: Radar forecast looking better. Wind at Bloomington now S (180), points to the Marina launch.

Skunked!! A guy had to be out there rigged and ready at 9:00 am. Drove over to West Side from the Marina with S - SSE(160 to 170 degrees) around noon. Never got on plane with 4.7. Chris never got on the water with rigged 5.8. No rain. Could even see blue sky. What I think happened is a word you never want to hear in windsurfing - Retrograde! :woohoo: A high pressure starts to move back east. An H (highest point of a high) over North Carolina moves backwards to be over Alabama. Tom Skilling once used the word retrograde and we haven't heard from him since.
