Yep, kites are definitely dangerous in the hands of the inexperienced. And even the experienced: A local kiter got a piece of one of his fingers cut off instantly as he had a line inadvertently wrapped around it and suddenly coming under tension. The piece was never found. He is now proudly exhibiting his "war" injury!  |
