I finally got around to editing some footage I took at Greenwood Ave. beach a while back. The swell was 12 feet after a couple solid days of NW gales. I wish I had a camera I could take out on the water cause I really want to capture the 'lost in the wilderness' feeling you get when you crash way outside the break and you're swimming for your gear. It's so eerie to be on your own out there with these huge, green, foaming crumblers plowing over you. I wonder if it would translate adequately to film. Anyway, the view from the beach isn't bad either...
