Maiden voyage of the new 2012 8.2 Hellcat! Conditions: 'Gentlemanly Planing Thru Stiff Ripples' to 'Blast-O-Jam 5000'. Winds SW to SSW. Here showing one of several non-stop planing runs from the Carlyle Sailing Association to my launch spot back at Dam East, got to be a 2 mile trip each direction. Very special blasting conditions out here in SW air. Got about 10 or so of these reaches in before died down and went off to Coles Creek to finish windsurfing out the day with the afternoon crew. Unfortunately battery died quickly after reaching Coles Creek, good shots of launch site tho (and of Jay zippin' by me on his longboard!).
