Reid, glad you found how to do it in iMovie. It's a pretty cool effect.
It also can be done in Premiere Pro but it is a bit tedious with objects moving erratically in all directions that require to manually set additional keyframes in smaller time increments to make sure the tip of the line is pointing consistently where you want it.

Thanks for the info, Greg. I just found out how to do motion tracking in iMovie. The motion tracking of your line from gear to title with Adobe After Effects is cool.

Thanks, Reid. That board is just fun for the freerider that I am. Just wish I had the same in 110/115 for these conditions...

I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing - it is subscription-based (monthly) and a bit on the pricey side but it is THE video editing standard these days I believe. It's very rich in features and possibilities; especially coupled with Adobe After Effects which takes it even to higher editing levels with even more sophisticated titling, video and sound post-production effects. I believe there are also other very capable editing software out there (freeware or one-time cost) that are almost as capable as Premiere Pro. Just need to Google "alternative to Premiere Pro" and it should provide a wealth of info and options to try.

Nice. You got the group shot of the year. Boom! Nice jibes and jumps. That Bolt always thinks it's at the Défi Wind. What is the software you used for those nice moving titles? I needed something like that for my Gustadvised vid.
