Reid killed it with his 35mph! This is amazing. Great job.
In the meantime, I'm laboring my way upward with a modest 31mph. Still, this is the first time I'm taking the 109 Kode this fast on SW 30kn very choppy conditions on Lake Winnebago (Deadwood Point).
The Bolt did it again! Just clocked 34.2 mph on Monday and sailed a total of 55 miles that day! Woohoo!
I also killed my 2018 GoPro 6 who finally got some water in because of a bad battery seal.
I have footage before the camera died but I can't extract the GPS GoPro data since I don't have a functional camera to do the transfer anymore. ...Shopping time I guess!
Yesterday was a repeat of the July speed but a bit better by 0.09mph at 34.29mph. My best time on the water this year.
The difference between the two is that there was a lot more chop and lake swell this time. Actually, I'm more interested in the 500m speed: Never been over 30mph over such distance yet!
Need to find a flat spot and I'll try to break the 35mph barrier! Maybe Clinton Lake on a strong SW?
