This is a used top-of-the-line 460 RDM high carbon mast. HotSails masts are considered slight flex top, but I used it with a Goya sail which is considered constant curve in a 460 length, rigged and performed flawlessly, so it is likely to work well with Goya, Duotone, Ezzy just fine. The mast had a barely perceptible nick at the joint, so in my compulsiveness I wrapped a few layers of fiberglass/West systems epoxy around the mast at the joint (1" length), completely preventive for something that was unlikely to ever cause a problem. Zero problem using the mast and obviously no change in the performance. I've given up using sail sizes that need a 460 mast, wing foil instead. $75 or suggest a swap for something I could use that you no longer need (eg usable 6.2-6.4 sail). If mast breaks at that joint in the next few years (not possible), I give you your money back. Original mast bag included.
