Amigos. Thinking about getting into the foiling game. More companies are offering dual sport boards. The Fanatic Blast is considered a freeride board that is foil approved with deep tuttle box. The reviews are great as a slalom board, for foiling not a lot has been published. The board is expensive and i would hate to be disappointed in the performance on the lighter wind wave days on Lake Michigan as well. My experience in finding a 110lt to 120lt board for Lake Michigan conditions has been tough. Ive had boards with too much rocker or too flat, too sharp rails, too boxy.....etc. Currently I'm really happy with an old mistral flow for these conditions. Having it out in big waves Thursday it's hard to think it could be replaced. Any thoughts considering freeride boards that are marketed as foil approved? I have no foiling experience, am i naive thinking i will be able to learn on such a board?
