This year I thought I'd record some data of my sessions. Did that a bit last year but this year, I'm going a step further and log a few more details. Just curious to see what transpires...
- 34 sessions to-date
- I used my 125 on a fin more than both my109 and windfoil combined. The 109 Kode is a great board but I'm more and more realizing that FSW boards are not my cup of tea. Narrow Freeride/Freerace board is what I like, even in waves and choppy conditions. I just need something smaller than the 125 when the wind hits 25kn and above.
- I used my 7.0 sail more than my 8.5 this year so far (Wasn't the case last year). This would indicate that maybe the wind has been strong enough and I became more efficient with my foiling as I now rarely take the 8.5 to foil.
- I didn't use the 9.4 this year so far. I don't intend to. I'm thinking of selling it as I now foil when I want to go light wind.
- I finally realized that, as I'm getting a bit more experienced windsurfer, I don't really enjoy midwest +30kn conditions. Too gusty, too chaotic on small lakes, and I'm getting older I guess!
How about you?
Have to add that I'm 189lb to bring a bit of context
