Greg, good choice. I have makani weed fin but most of my other fins are black project. I bought the tri fin set for my fanatic freewave and like them better than the original carbon mfc fins which broke easily. The freeride black project kraken is good too.

Thanks Stefan. I looked at the Makani Tumbleweed and based on people's feedback, they look like they are doing the job. I had a good conversation with the guys at Black Project and they provided good advice with size, ride and price, so I went with them. Both look very similar so would think they perform about the same. Can't wait to try!
