A classic 4:00pm blow. I started with 5.8 with 108 FSW. It was still offshore. I tried different tricks. I tried Shove-its. I tried switch-stance and then ducking the sail to sail back-winded on plane - fun until the boom touches the water at speed. It made me land on my back on the nose of the board. I'm OK. Got overpowered. Came in and rigged 4.7 with 95 L FSW. It was fully lit. Hard to try stuff with 40+ gusts. Wind shifted nicely to SSW. Could have sailed a 4.2, especially if one worked their way up to The Narrows. Air temp hit 79 F water temp at the Marina launch was 60 F. Got to wear my 3.2 suit. Fun day.
