Ha, I’m scrolling through the wind apps and asking myself the same question. At the same time I don’t want to waste my bullets for what might be bellow average day and miss on some strong wind days that pop up in the forecast for the middle of the week-I have to keep some kind of work-fun balance after all. It’s a dicy business, the forecast may change completely till then. May have to wait until tomorrow morning to make a decision. It would be nice to sail together.

Yep, the forecast changed to the point where I would not bother with it
I had a dream last night. I was packing my gears in the car. I could not find a boom or something, looked for it for 30 minutes
Finally found it. Check the wind forecast one more time, and the wind was gone....
Could that become a reality?

NOAA: wind...becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Cloudy, with a high near 70. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7am and 8am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am.
Clinton Lake Forecast
Looks like a good day for the Marina. Afternoon SW-WSW wind in the 6.9 to 5.8 range. Possible rain before 11:00am. Water temp now at the coldest part of the lake(west side) is 54 F! Air temp should hit 70+ F. Who's with me for a fun day at the Marina?

Have you tried? Roof rack?
Back in the day this wagon was my wife's and when it wasn't available I strapped the board inside its bag directly over the roof of my Town Car-the black one on the left-straps through the windows, because on this freaking Lincolns you cant fold the back seats-the fuel tank sits behind them. The roof caved in a little bit, but the dealer didn't notice when I traded it in

That’s how I used to do it back in France. Never liked it but I was only traveling 20 minutes at low speed through small villages.
Here in the states, I have to drive 90 minutes on the highway....
Not sure I’m ready for that

To reference my favorite Fallout video game-I believe in the power of Atom ! I think my kit will be able to tractor me around . I’m still going, at least the wind direction improved and should be fine for the Marina. Well Sylvain has his dilemma decided for him-take the big board only.
