Last good wind day was July 21st, exactly one month ago... I can't wait to go !!!!

I’m looking at tomorrow to for Clinton. Seems like Purgatory would be the the right launch. (?)

If you lone me a boom for my 6.5 I will tell you the best place to launch!

Rich, how was it today?
Wind for Tuesday seems to be less than what I hoped it would be.
Not sure if I can plan with my 6.8 and my 185 lbs....
Second guessing myself....

At least 1 forecast still looks good for 3pm tomorrow. We had wind in Bloomington today at 3-4pm but rain in Clinton. NW seems to be pretty good the last few times we've had it and today's ND in Iowa looked pretty good. Who knows if that'll stay up and come here? Chris, if you need your 6.5 you can use my regular boom cause I'll be on my 8.5 with my formula boom

Not looking good down here, LSP Michigan looks like the place to be today but the whole lake is looking good on sailflow.

I agree, not looking too good. I may still head out late today is some of these clouds break up but it'll be my light wind stuff for sure.

1:00 to 5:00 looks like the zone if no rain. 6.9 wind for me. NW turning NNW. The Road might be the better spot.

For the road launch, do you just park on the side of the street?

Pull off just enough to get your tires off the pavement. The south side of the road has lots of grassy rigging.

Fun day at The Road was had by all - especially when it's exactly one month to the day of your last sesh. The wind was coming right down the pipe NW around 1:00. Then it shifted to NNW late afternoon and made us chase puffs. I had fun with 6.9 Ezzy Tiger and RRD 108 Freestyle Wave. Great to see you guys again. Let's not make it another month.

Sailing at The Road is like sail in the French countryside. You ask Greg and Sylvain, they'll tell ya.



I helped Rich set the Ezzy calibration gauge. Set it and forget it. Makes down hauling to the same spot to the millimeter really easy.




One of the nicest, easiest, launches on the lake.
