Keeping an eye on Friday, S 20-28 MPH 65 degrees!

Does anyone have an idea what the water temp at Clinton Lake is?

It got up to 62 then dropped of to tbe 50's near the swim beach. It's been cold lately so I imagine it's in tbe low 50's since the plant is running.

Still is long way off but looking good. Carlyle is looking great if not for 40 degree water. Anyone else thinking about sailing Clinton Friday?

Going to have to check on things after 10pm tonight. Right now I have plans on being down there by 10:30am. Not sure if it's going to go SSW like I want or be south so at this time I'm not sure where I will be launching. I think that getting there earlier is best, hopefully we will have the wind spot affect tomorrow afternoon and it won't drop off. One of the SailFlow images I looked at had the wind spot over Clinton, got to love it.

Still not decided between Wolf and Clinton. Its gonna be a"hot" day so water temperature is not a huge factor. Wolf is good when S and SW, not convinced about Clinton when S yet. Maybe I have to give it another chance. S means the "corner office " or the marina , right?

Upgrade: They took the rain out of it. Looks like S wind, 5.8 to 4.7. 12:00 to 4:00 is the zone. Marina might be the spot. Or The Corner if you want warmer water. The water did make a comeback see graph below.

















Water temp West Side. Add 10 puts The Corner around 57. Marina might be low 50s. We'll have to see.
