If we had warmer water on the West Side Access then that would be the place to sail on S or SE. So we just have to make the best of it at the corner this time of year.
It must have been. You guys had a very constant wind the whole afternoon, the base barely ever dipping below 20 mph. Combine it with the flat water and you have a jibing paradise
I sailed my 5.8 with 108L. Chris got out there first and caught the best half hour. Greg sailed his 6.2. It was pretty up and down when we got out there. Greg switched to a 6.7 sail and was raging on his new Carbon Art 116L 67cm wide, only 14 lbs. I could of had a 4.7 sesh if I would have been willing to un-rig in the dark. It was raging around sunset.
Oh the Hatchery
What a place to be
There is no beach as far as I can see
But money talks and bullshit walks
If you don't got money you launch on the rocks.

If you squint it looks like Hatteras. Chris (5.8 sail, 93L)
Hey Greg, how do you like hour CA Freeride? It seems they are trying hard to get a foothold in the US now after becoming quite popular elsewhere. Do you have any other CA boards? www.carbonartwindsurf.com/boards/freeride/
My Carbon Art is a costom design, a big FreeRideX. I sailed it one time, at Lake Clinton. It was fast and easy to gybe. The real test will be Lake Michigan, my favorite place to sail.
Btw, I bought two new boards this winter. I have too many boards!
For Sale Goya FXR 125 leanth 249 width 67.9 power box 7.1 kg dual density pads. $1150
Sail range 5.5 to 8m
I'm sure it will be great for Lake Michigan where a big narrow b&j board makes more sense then a wide slalom type one.
You have some nice boards for sale! I would start a For Sale tread in the Windsurfing Gear section of this site and place them there with pictures and some more details if I were you.
