Wednesday look good.
I’m thinking 4.7, small board around noon to 1 pm starting time
What’s the best launch location for what looks like straight south wind
I am packed and heading out. See ya at the lake! Someone has to keep an eye on this high wind event! I feel it's my duty as a concerned citizen to take this on.
Glad to say the wind was a little unruly but was not that bad. 4.7 then 4.2 was good time, Glenn made it over and Sylvain, Reid and Rich got in on it as well. Water was warm.
It was as nasty as I thought it would be. Gusts over 40 mph. Got on the water around 1:00 pm with a 4.2 on 95 L.. Some of us headed up to The Narrows. S 190 is a waste of good wind at Clinton. The Bridge pool needs SSW 210+. We had fun with the 10 to 40 mph. After awhile I got left alone up there. But the base wind went to 30 mph. I got tired and came in for a break around 3:00. Then I tried to go back out around 4:00 which tuned out to be the peak wind of the day. I came back in after a couple of reaches. It was survival sailing. Glen and Rich went back out but they said it was back to up and down wind. Saw Sylvain down wind when I was at The Narrows. Hope you did well. It was brutal, as Chris said, out there. Hope everybody had a good time.

Me (4.2 sail) The one saving grace of The Narrows - flat water on the sides. Where 40 mph meets 0 mph. Stay on the edge of the textured water. Don't go onto the glass. Unless you like to swim or you like your water-starts with a lot of yank.

Chris (4.2 sail) He got a hold of that one. You're easier to see when you get up in the trees like this, (See photo link for full sequence)
Me (4.2 sail) Where did everybody go?
Me (4.2 sail) Wonder why I'm alone up here.
Me (4.2 sail) Boom!
Rich (6.0 sail) Me (4.2 sail) We're heading in.
GoPro in photo mode - not bad(4K pics wide). Glen (5.3 orange sail) Rich 6.0 green sail) Getting the last of the day. Don't be fooled, it's still gusting to 40 out there. 'till next time!.
