Sailed 5.8 from 12:45pm until 2:30pm. Started out slogging up to the point but then it picked up and I had some good rides. There were a lot of boats, had one close encounter, the boats were breaking up the chop making it hard to find good ramps but I made the best of it. Rick braught a friend and Glen and Reid went out as I was leaving. Hope they all got some rides.

I got out for a short ride in the morning, but had to spend the afternoon and evening doing props, music & stage management at my daughter's annual dance recital.

I was bummed that I couldn't trip up to Little Sable Point. My buddy up there called it early (30 knots for Saturday he said on Wednesday) but Little Sable has a way of proving everyone wrong. Apparently it was solid 5.8 well before lunch, and after that it just went up and up and up. By the time you could rig down a size, it was already time to rig down another. By about 2pm even the 4m were blown off the water. And the water was butt-cold

Sounds like a good time, that place rocks! I can't wait to get back up there. Timing has to be just right, takes me about 5 and a half hours to get there. If anyone has pics, please share.

Another good day at Marina Sail Park. Wind was 5.8-able for me when I got there. I got lucky with the shifts. It shot me up to The Narrows. I even sailed up wind of that when the wind went South. I sailed as far west as the Peninsula launch(see Launches page) on some blazing reaches. NOAA called it right with 18 gusting to 30 forecast. The motorboat chop made me glad I have 13mm pads(at the heels) and some V in my 108 L. Got off the water around 5:00

Rick, I know you look at this site, why don't you ever comment? I was cool to see you brought a friend. Glad to see she made it back to the Marina. Good to see someone new on the water! Way to go Susan!
