Looks like a good day for Purgatory Cove. W - WNW wind with lots of sun. 5.8 to 4.7 wind.

Going to head down today around 11am to get me some rides. I'm thinking the main pool will be the place to sail today.

Upgrade: Look at that reach-back on Clinton. Gotta 4.7 look to it.

Great day, sailed 4.7 completely powered up. Had to spill wind at times. Reid showed up and joined me. PowerHouse aka PowerJibe Pub (Ady) cheeseburger and beer, perfect!

Chris was rippin' on his 4.7 when I got there in the afternoon. Made rigging an easy choice. Water is cooler in the main pool. Water temp at purgatory is 59. I wore my 5/4. Had to swim to the wind-line. Lit on my 4.7. Wind would shift a little W and then WNW. The main pool gives you the longest reach with longest fetch on Clinton with this wind direction. Fun afternoon.

SailFlow did a pretty good job at forecasting the "reach-back". Here's Unisys real-time wind today.
