Just got word the campground is closed and all those launches. Closed for hunting until the 15th. SOB, and 30 degree temps for highs coming after this southerly. West Side would be the only option for SSE, but the water will be 10 degrees colder.

I'm going to sail, what about east side of DeWitt Bridge?

You can, but it will be a S-SSE wind.

Are you sure the ramp and beach areas are closed?

Yep, "Mascoutin will be closed 3 pm Sun. Nov. 9 through Sat. Nov. 15"

Straight south everywhere at 11:00. Marina might work if you can get up to The Narrows.

Not the best day to show off the Marina with the offshore wind today. Chris got the best of it up at The Narrows when the wind was south. It backed off a little and turned SSE. It was very gusty and shifty. I went out on my 4.7 with 108 FSW. First time using a 4.7 on it. The 108 got me to the wind line which by that time was on the other side of the lake. And the combo handled the gusts nicely. Water temp is 54 degrees at Marina Sail Park.
