The most awesome and forgiven place to ride wave.

I ran across this video a few months ago and decided the same thing :-)

I have long thought I belong on the west coast of Oz, but this place just looks magical.

I've tried to contact some of the sailor there but haven't heard back yet... probably too busy waveriding.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one dreaming of living in a windsurfing paradise (e.g Maui, Gerroa, Baja, etc.)

Well, I kind of live that life for while. I'm from Puerto Rico and thats where I learn. The only thing about PR is that the wind is not that great, but with today big wave board and bigger wave sails, I'm sure you can get a lot more time riding waves.
Back in the 90's my wave board was 85 lt, a Pro Tech thruster fin, and my biggest sail was 5.8, the biggest wave sail you could get on those days. Today, my biggest wave board is 112 (unheard on those days) and my biggest "wave" sail is 6.9 Ezzy Tiger, although my 6.2 Naish Boxer is a much better wave sail.
I know what your wondering, WTF i'm doing in Chicago. Me too.
