From what I can see in this live streaming image the water is fluid even right now-during the Polar vortex of the week! Is it true? The forcast for the next week for this area is in the 40s and even 50F . Its a mere 4 hrs drive from home -perfect for an one night stay weekend escape . Sounds like a poor mans Caribbean to me !

Just look at that! The ice patches still visible this morning are gone, its blowing over 30 mph and the temperature is 64F! I didn't have the balls to go fearing the ice and now Im cursing my indecisiveness and waisting the opportunity for a little adventure.
