The weather was nasty at the Wall until 13:30- pouring rain at times and gusty shifting winds /folks north of Calumet didn't get any of this/. Once the storms passed though it became magnificent and we had a great sesh with Stefan and Mike, who was so kind to record some videos of us . Thanks Mike!
Man these N winds are soo cool-dense and stable. For the few hours of sailing I didn't get a minute of slogging with a 5.8 !
For some reason the Steelworkers Park /87th street/ was closed until later so we launched from the boat ramps at Calumet park . The wind started to drop after we decided to leave so it was an easy ride back downwind.
